Answer

The Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation (NSPLCC)

carries out the conduct and  management function of gaming in Nova Scotia, which includes overseeing the operators who manage the day-to-day business of gaming.

Atlantic Lottery operates the ticket and video lottery business in Nova Scotia and Great Canadian Corporation operates the two casinos.

It’s important to note that every province manages gaming a little bit differently. In 2011, the Government of Nova Scotia released its Responsible Gaming Strategy which addresses other governance changes for the future.
