Answer

We’re a different kind of company.

Atlantic Lottery is owned by the four provincial governments, which means all of our profit goes back to those governments instead of into the hands of private shareholders. After all of our business costs and bills are paid, everything that’s left (profit) goes back. Every penny, every year.

The four provincial governments then use that profit to fund services we all use. You probably won’t see a sign on your local hospital, school or road that reads, ‘funded by Atlantic Lottery’, but it’s likely they were funded in part by lottery profit. Every year since 1976, we’ve provided the benefits of a profitable lottery to Atlantic Canadians.
