If you think you have a winning ticket,

please call our Customer Care Centre at 1-800-561-3942.  We’ll ask you a few questions to ensure you have the potential winning ticket.

If the win is $250 or less, your local retailer can validate your ticket and pay your prize.  If your win is over $250 but under $10,000, you can visit your local Scotiabank branch or our head office.  If your win is $10,000 or more, you’ll need to come to one of our regional offices or our head office.  Make sure you bring your ticket and a piece of government-issued photo ID.

A winner’s representative will guide you through the claim process and help you fill out a number of forms that our prize and security departments need to process your claim.  Someone from our Security and Compliance Department will ask you a few questions.

It’s takes about 3 hours to complete the typical claim as we need to review all the documentation, retailer information and details of the win to make sure everything is in order. This helps us ensure that the right prize gets awarded to the rightful ticket owner.  While we review the necessary documents feel free to kick your feet up and relax in our winner’s lounge.

Once all the security verifications are done, it’s time for the big cheque presentation.  Sometimes if it’s a big win, the media is invited. But don’t worry, we are with you every step of the way to help you enjoy your big day!
